NAMI Mahoning Valley Support Groups

Don’t be afraid to ask for help (or offer it either).  NAMI Mahoning Valley has many different support groups available.

Please Join Us On Our Journey To Recovery!
A support group connecting adults who live with mental illness in a structured discussion format. The program is limited to adults living with a mental health diagnosis in order to promote self-disclosure in a safe, relaxed, supportive and confidential environment. These support groups are led by NAMI trained facilitators who are “Living in recovery” themselves.

Monthly support groups aimed at providing information and support for family members & friends of individuals with mental illness. Discussion format support groups are led by NAMI trained facilitators who have lived through difficulties families experience when an individual is diagnosed with mental illness.

Second Tuesday of every month, 6:00 pm
Support through Expressive Arts (SEA) is a mental health support group that focuses on self-expression through art and each month participants will create a project designed to help promote self-exploration and mental health stability. No art experience is required. Everyone is creative, including YOU! The group and all supplies are free through support from the HELMS Foundation of the Mahoning Valley.
